Neo Oslund – Dripilism
is in many ways the most arduous process I have ever conceived. It entails pouring liquid paint from the containers, following the outline which I draw before hand. Each line must be perfectly precise, as the paint pours out thick, it is imperative every line is exact. The process for each painting can vary dramatically, “Imaginary Doors” took 12 hours of constant painting, with minimal breaks in between. Once a painting of this method has been started, it is necessary for it to be completed in a single day, this is what makes the process so involving.

Neo Oslund – Imaginary Doors – This painting represents the ability of imagination, and the transformation experience of altering ones personal perception. This work is a reminder that all things are in the eye of the beholder, and how this knowledge is becoming to true freedom.

Neo Oslund – Clockworx: An homage to the illusory concept of time, a seemingly present quality in this reality. With this work I encapsulate the movement of physical space, and the sometimes contorting experience of living within time.

Michelle Whimbey – Full Moon: I adore the moon, within this painting I worked to capture the luminescent feeling and beauty of the moon. I use colors reminiscent of night time, and the darker hues of foliage. In this scene I painted an outstretched field of flowers, with the moon in full grace above it.

Michelle Whimbey – Windy Meadow: Meadows are truly glorious. I love meadows, just relaxing in the warming embrace of the Earth, there is nothing better to me. For this painting I used aggressive strokes, symbolizing the movement of the wind through a field of flowers. I feel confident in my conveyance of turbulence in the painting, if you look close you can almost feel the blusterous breeze tickle your spine.
